I can’t believe just this afternoon we were sledging, Duke learnt to snowboard and Uncle Hugo took Joe for a spin on his canoe…on the snow!
It was that lovely dry fluffy kind of snow – no sludge. More promised overnight…it was tempting to feign a snow-in with school starting tomorrow but since Duke’s teacher lives in Canterbury we thought she might see through the charade…
Haven’t had so much fun in Herne Bay since we were in exactly the same spot jumping in and out of the sea wearing considerably less…and I didn’t look quite so much like Little Edie Beale that time….
