Oh I feel sick. I was just catching up with Cozette’s life when I read on her blog that Daul Kim has died.
I was such a fan of her blog I Like To Fork Myself which was one of my most regular reads. Apart from the fact that she was a hugely successful model, her face in repose always looked so beautifully sad and her blog was quite dark but also darkly funny.
Very personal, I often felt quite voyeuristic reading her blog because along with the desire to stare at her endlessly, moments of real raw sadness made you feel you knew too much without actually knowing her. I remember grabbing Jack’s knee in the Pam Hogg show when she walked on to the catwalk, since we were both in her thrall and so excited to be in the same room! She walked for Pam this fashion week too….and she was only 20. Unbelievable.
