I whole-heartedly supported Griffin's right to be on the programme. This is a democracy and whether we like it or not he is an elected politician. The fantastic thing about the programme was that almost without exception the rest of the panel and audience deplored his hate-filled rhetoric and with dignity and logic made him look like the small, sad individual he is. I was very proud to be British that night. I’m more hopeful after last week’s Question Time. I whole-heartedly supported Griffin’s right to be on the programme.
