Just got back in from celebrating my sister’s birthday at Bam Bou on Percy St which is Vietnamese French and when you choose the set menu they just bring on the delicacies until you CANNOT force anything more down….still amazed after trying to dance it off next door in the basement bar which I suddenly realised I hadn’t been in since I DJed there, like 5 (?) years previously….wierdly different with chintzy wallpaper and lots of dudes in trilbies and girls in flapper dresses…and Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross (not in person) but the really obvious ones.
Anyhoo, tried to dance off the dinner but now I’ve wobbled home feel just as full…but it was lovely to spend time with my sister that was so joyful, just like the old days except now we’re both freaking ANCIENT…but it felt like the old days nontheless…..
